The Big Con - Lance Icarus

Another year, another Sakuracon. Sure they say Sakuracon is about cultural diversity and learning more about asian culture etc, but in reality it's just an anime convention for lovers of Japanamation and their ilk. That's exactly why I'm sitting here in my cozy house right now. I'm safe from the cosplay and the constant sound of primarily English speaking people spouting off line after line of japanese that may or may not be right.

Yes, I did say safe. Sakuracon scares the holy zen out of me. It's mostly due to the fact that most of the people I know that go seem to lose all sense of self a few weeks before the convention. It's like they become the characters they're cosplaying. It sends shivers up my spine.

Anyway, that's just my bias. Dizzy will put up his post when he gets back describing his experience at the con. He's what I would consider the other end of the opinion spectrum from me.

When it comes to the site, there's a lot going on behind the scenes. Dizzy is almost done with the Characters page pictures and sent me a revised logo to put on T-Shirts. We may use it for the site if it works right. You'll also notice a link to last week's comic now. That's for you guys who don't wanna hit the archive button at the top of the page. Lazy bums (aka my people). Make sure to give that a click when you can because it'll go to Big Bully. Check directly under the comic to see a "Stumble The Comic!" button. If you like the comic and recommend it, click that link to add another positive review to the StumbleUpon program, helping guide people to our site when they want quality comics. Come on, don't be shy. Click away.

Have a good one.

The Dust Settles - Dizzy Fox

This weekend myself and Ayame were in SakuraCon. The Great Northwest Anime Convention. We definitely had some interesting times there. If you haven't guessed by now....Yes That is me in the skirt. I realized that when my hair is let down I do in fact look like I girl...scary huh. I'm kind of glad I had to cut my hair for interviews recently, and grow facial hair. Oh yeah I almost forgot, no I do not have a girly figure though. I think?

Anyways yeah. Anime, Games, Costumes, and overall Japanese Culture. That is in short what anime conventions are all about. I'm done raving about Sakura Con.

In other news, I've redone the profile pictures and are in the process of inking the new beauties. So hopefully they'll be up soon. I might try and get some color in there too so you guys can get an Idea of what colors the characters hair and clothes are. Anyways I hope ya'll enjoy the comic. Spread the word of us, make us famous. YAY!
